About this Event
Join us to celebrate the launch of this debut book: Interconnected AF by psychologist and author Michelle Daw.
What happens when you’re juggling work, family, relationships, ageing parents, changing bodies, expectations, and all the things you carry that no-one else sees but you definitely feel - and then question what’s wrong with you?
That question sits at the heart of Interconnected AF. There is nothing wrong with you. You’re not a problem to fix, you’re not broken, you’re overloaded & exhausted AF.
Written for women navigating the messy middle years of life, Interconnected AF looks beyond individual symptoms, labels and quick fixes to explore the bigger picture: including the internal, external, support and invisible loads that you carry - and how all these parts influence and interact. Everything is interconnected. Nothing sits in isolation.
Join Michelle for a relaxed two-hour celebration of the book, including an in-conversation discussion with Michelle and our MC exploring why she wrote the book, the stories and ideas behind it, what she has learned from years of sitting opposite women who believe they are failing and her own lived experience of being a woman in the middle of everything.
This is definitely not a psychology lecture, it’s a conversation about being human, carrying too much, understanding ourselves a little better and what can happen when we finally decide that we need to be a priority in our own life.
There’ll be time to connect, have a drink, chat with like minded people, meet Michelle and have your copy of Interconnected AF personally signed.
Come for the book, stay for the conversation, connection and celebration.
