Join us at MAXT for a real treat for those who love printmaking. We are exicted to welcome J Ann Eldridge to our printshop for this in depth course.Ann is an accomplished intaglio artist producing prints with traditional 500 year old techniques in her studio in Bradford NH, her work is available in galleries around New England. She is a member of the League of New Hampshire Craftsmen with a wonderful booth of work yearly at the Sunapee show.

This will be a five-session intaglio course focusing on fundamental traditional line etching techniques using smoked hard ground and with ferric chloride as an etch solution. Aquatint, mezzotint, and drypoint techniques can be added.
Suitable for beginning printers or as a refresher for those who have had some experience with intaglio. 5x7 copper plates and proofing paper will be supplied as well as most tools.
Bring your ideas of that size, some relaxed and imperfect clothing, and a sense of humor.
