Bio:
Priya Roy (she/her) is an NYC-based performer & producer. She is known for her versatility of vocal style, language & genre. Priya has professional classical dance. music & theatre training & performance experience in 10+ countries for 10+ years. She regularly produces immersive shows and concerts with her band Velvet Affairs; aerial and pole dance concerts with Aerial Acoustics; burlesque and drag shows as Stella Sundari; and guided music+meditation offerings through Somatic Strings. Her debut album, (Be)loved, will be released later this year. As an artist & academic, her work explores queer love, identity, belonging & healing through performance art.
