Lindsay B. Davis grew up in a New York household saturated in music — Motown and MJ, Broadway in the backyard, and America's Top 40 with Casey Kasem on the radio — before the moment she discovered Madonna and understood that music could be both pop confection and reinvention itself. She began Suzuki violin and dance young, then set music aside for athletics. While a student at Cornell, she found her way back to musical performance through Anything Goes, Cornell's song-and-dance ensemble, and never really left.
In NYC, Lindsay performed in off-Broadway musicals, cabarets, showcases, charity events, and open mics — but songwriting had always been underneath everything. She wrote parody tunes as a kid and started writing songs at 20, and it wasn't until a move to Los Angeles that she finally built the world around them.
Her pop career launched in 2022 in collaboration with LA-based producer KI. Together — with Lindsay as co-writer and sole vocalist — they've built a catalog that resists easy categorization: maximalist in sound, intimate in confession, mapping love, longing, and reinvention across constellations and coastlines. Seven years in Los Angeles produced Lost in Malibu, My Love Is Here, Thinking Of, Home on Christmas, Star Boy, and Orion.
Back in the city with her most recent release, You Are Not Alone, Lindsay is reaching outward with an expansive generosity that marks a new emotional register. Her forthcoming single, In the Air, signals the next chapter is already in motion. Lindsay currently trains with Mindy Pack Studios. Drawn to the theatrical audacity of Madonna, the mystical romanticism of Stevie Nicks, and the singer-songwriter pop intersection of Brandi Carlile, Lindsay is forever guided by the greats. Her music transforms. So does she.
