FREE EVENT in the Auditorium at 230 Grace Street! A honey bee colony may look chaotic, but every bee, behavior, and structure serves a purpose. Inside the Hive combines bee biology, beekeeping stories, and a behind-the-scenes look at how beekeepers care for their colonies, harvest honey, and support the wider ecosystem.Presenter Chip Rajca will have things to see and touch including honeycomb direct from the hive, a bee suit, honey extractor, and smoker. And one lucky attendee will win a free jar of local honey!
The Hive Advantage will be on sale in the Museum’s Gift Nook after the program.
About our Presenter:
Chip Rajca is an Army veteran, a commercial analytics leader in biopharma, and a beekeeper! He is also the author of The Hive Advantage, which explores the remarkable organization of the honey bee hive through the lens of leadership.
