Inner Pages Journaling Club
The quality of questions you ask yourself shapes the quality of your inner dialogue.
In the old story of the Fisher King, the land has become barren because its king carries a wound that will not heal. The Holy Grail, the water that could heal him is near but requires the right question to unlock it.
At the end of The Hobbit, Bilbo is gently reminded that his adventure was never just luck, and paradoxically, never only his own doing. Something larger had been moving through it all along...
Inner Pages begins with that same idea: a good question can restore movement where life has grown stagnant and stale. Our minds, bodies and souls can heal when we become curious about what hurts, what calls to us, and what still longs to come alive. Self reflective journalling is how we begin to see ourselves.
Our gathering is an attemtp to enter the mystery one question, one page and one conversation at a time.
Our monthly gathering opens with a short talk: part sermon - part provocation. We take one big idea and look at it from many angles using ideas from poets, philosophers, mystics, film, artists and pop culture. And then we turn it inward. You'll write privately, then break into groups to share what surfaced, and close by hearing from each circle about what bubbled up.
No writing experience needed. Bring a notebook and your whole curious self!Next one:
