About this Event
Diwali is the festival of lights, and one of the biggest celebrations in the world. Every year, more than a billion people light lamps, share sweets, reach out to the people they love and start fresh.
At its heart, it’s simple: light over dark, sweetness over bitterness, and letting go of what’s behind you to make room for what’s next.
As the days get shorter and the rain settles in, we could all use a little more light. So we’re throwing a Diwali party for everyone. Come hang out, meet good people and leave feeling lighter than when you walked in.
What’s happening
- Decorate your own diya. Paint a little clay lamp to take home.
- Set an intention for the year ahead.
- Chanting sound bath and meditation. Close your eyes and let the week melt away.
There will be dessert!
Graze away with rose cardamom sweets, spiced cakes and other creations by Sweet Souls. Mingle with delicious mocktails in hand.
Our desserts will be vegan and made without refined sugar, with gluten-friendly options too, so there’s something for every diet.
This is a sober event, so you get all the celebration and wake up feeling great the next day.
What to Wear
Anything that feels comfortable! Some of us will be in a t-shirt and jeans, others will dress up. You can wear something bright, if you’d like.
