About this Event
Ink Night: Merry & Bright Beginner Calligraphy & Ornament Lettering
Looking for a holiday activity that's more memorable than another shopping trip? Join us for a festive beginner-friendly calligraphy class, where you'll learn the basics of modern calligraphy and create a personalized hand-lettered ornament that's perfect for decorating your tree or gifting to someone special. We'll cover foundational strokes, letter connections, simple techniques and tips to help you feel more confident using a calligraphy pen. Then we'll put those skills into practice as you create custom holiday ornaments featuring names, seasonal phrases or festive designs. Whether you've never picked up a calligraphy pen before or you're looking for a new way to get into the holiday spirit, this class is designed for real humans, not perfect hand writers! Your kit is included and yours to keep, so you can continue practicing long after the decorations are put away.
