My land. Your land. Who decides?--
When the rights to a vast property suddenly come up for grabs, three people -- Indigenous, immigrant, and settler -- must journey over dangerous terrain in a race against time, and each other, if they wish to gain stewardship of it.
With humour, suspense, and competing perspectives, INHERITANCE invites you into a conversation about land and belonging. What have we inherited, and what do we choose to do with it?
Inheritance is a 90-minute drama adapted from a finalist for Canada’s highest honour, the GOVERNOR GENERAL'S AWARD.
Directed by Camille Beaudoin (Cree, Mohawk, Haudenosaunee and French Canadian), and co-written and performed by Darrell Dennis (Secwepemc First Nation), Medina Hahn (Lebanese / Irish ancestry), and Daniel Smith Arnold (3rd gen European).
