Meet Our Faculty & Experience Learning Firsthand!OPEN HOUSE
Thursday, November 12th
2:00 – 4:00 pm
Why Families Choose Chesapeake Bay Academy
Teachers who understand how your child learns. Our faculty are trained in learning science, which is how the brain learns, including brains that learn differently.
Multisensory instruction is how we teach. Systematic, hands-on teaching is our model for every class. It isn’t an add-on or a special session.
Executive functioning skills, built into every day. Students practice organization, planning and focus in every class, so they never have to leave the classroom to learn them.
A school built for your child. Your child won’t be the one who’s “different.” Every part of CBA is designed for students like them.
We teach differently. We don’t just accommodate. We change how we teach to fit how your child learns, rather than only adjusting assignments or giving extra time.
Leaders in what works. Through CBA’s Center for Educational Research and Technological Innovation (CERTI), we turn research into classroom practice, learn from the results, and share what works with educators everywhere. Your child benefits first.
