About this Event
Hey Maven!
Join us for the Indy Maven's December Meetup at 16 Tech’s HqO Innovation Hub for an evening dedicated to celebrating the year, recognizing the women building Indiana’s future, and exploring what it takes to create an accessible, inclusive and supportive space for entrepreneurs.
Emily Krueger, president and CEO of the 16 Tech Community Corporation, will share why access and inclusion are at the heart of 16 Tech’s approach to innovation. She’ll talk about how the right community can help entrepreneurs grow, connect and thrive, and what she’s looking forward to in the year ahead. She will also discuss the types of programming offered at 16 Tech that can help you move from an idea to innovation.
A panel of women founders, including Kara Hawkins of Innova Artis and Alicia McKoy Waits of Peak Mind, will share their journeys and why that support matters.

Now, it’s time to take the lessons, pivots, and hard-won wins of 2026 and channel them into what’s ahead. The Indy Maven December meetup isn’t just a festive night out; it’s an intentional gathering to toast the groundwork we’ve laid and set the tone for an ambitious 2027. Step into the room, connect with the women shaping our city's future, and let’s head into the new year stronger, bolder, and together.
