About the speakers

Natalie Josephs, Marketing Director of Partnerships, St James's Place

Natalie is a highly accomplished marketing professional with over 20 years of experience in the branding and marketing world. Her exceptional talent in visual communications and marketing was recognised early on when she graduated with a 1st class honours degree and won the Future Talent Award in restaurant design.

Throughout her career, Natalie has held various positions from Brand Creative to Head of Marketing, primarily within the Property, Finance, Leisure and Restaurant sectors. In 2010, she joined Greene and Co. Estate agents and Union Developments as their Head of Marketing, where she led a complete brand transformation until they were sold out to Countrywide in 2014.

Natalie's expertise in creating and developing brands continued as she moved on to the Cedar Dean Group as their Head of Marketing, taking them on a 360-degree brand journey. During this time, she also established her own company, Old Brand New, where she provided branding and marketing consulting services, creative direction, and rebranding expertise.

Her role within KWM and SJP has been pinnacle! Her insight, vision and communication has allowed her to transform the way wealth management is conveyed and expressed both internally and client facing.

Beyond her professional achievements, Natalie is a devoted mother of three and has a continued flare for everything lifestyle and on brand. She has a love for food, design, and celebrating life, family, and friendship.


Abdul Buhari, Client Advisor, UBS

Abdul Buhari OLY is a distinguished professional who has successfully bridged the worlds of elite sports and finance. As both an Olympian and a seasoned financial expert, he brings a unique combination of strategic thinking, discipline, and leadership to every endeavour.

A former Team GB athlete, Abdul represented Great Britain in the discus at the London 2012 Olympic Games after winning both the British and England Athletics Championships in 2011. That same year, he achieved a personal best of 65.44 meters, securing his place among the top six discus throwers in British history. His athletic career began at Herne Hill Harriers before he later joined Newham & Essex Beagles, where he honed his skills on the international stage. Despite missing the 2010 Commonwealth Games due to injury, he competed at the 2011 World Championships and the 2012 European Athletics Championships before making his Olympic debut.

Beyond his achievements in athletics, Abdul has built a successful career in finance, currently serving as a client advisor at UBS. In this role, he provides expert financial guidance to high-net-worth individuals and ultra-high net worth individuals.

Passionate about giving back, Abdul is deeply involved in athlete development and governance. He is a co-founder and trustee of the Lloyd Cowan Bursary, which provides financial support to the next generation of UK athletes and coaches. He also co-founded the Athletes' Alumni, an initiative designed to help Olympians and Paralympians transition from elite sports into professional careers.

Lauren Gates, Digital Marketing Senior Specialist, Boston Consulting Group

Lauren Gates is a Digital Marketing Senior Specialist at Boston Consulting Group (BCG). She works primarily on social media marketing across paid and organic channels, supporting both BCG’s commercial activity and recruitment efforts.

Her role focuses on translating complex research and thought leadership into clear, engaging content for social platforms, including videos, animations, imagery, and copy. She also manages paid social campaigns and works closely with senior stakeholders to help them build their LinkedIn presence and position themselves as industry thought leaders.

Before joining BCG, Lauren worked in marketing, PR, and communications across both agency and in-house roles, supporting B2B and B2C organisations in sectors including financial services, education, and consumer brands.
Rebecca Reiner, Senior Manager, EY
Rebecca is an experienced leader and manager of people transformations and organisational development. She leads high-performing teams in psychologically safe environments to deliver leadership and skills development, business change, and culture development priorities. Rebecca works mainly in across the public sector, with a background in Higher Education global partnership strategy and philanthropy. She is Swedish and lives in London with her partner and young daughter.
