Join us for Sauk County’s 8th annual Indigenous Peoples' Day celebration! For the first time, this free community event will be held on Ho-Chunk property at the Neesh-La Pow-Wow Grounds, sponsored by Sauk County and the Ho-Chunk Nation and facilitated by the Sauk County Historical Society.Come celebrate Ho-Chunk culture and history with live music from the Winnebago Sons singers, traditional dancing (with explanations for non-native guests), artist demonstrations, local vendors, and interactive Ho-Chunk history exhibits—including a history walk and displays on Chief Yellow Thunder and Chief Blue Wing.
Enjoy a complimentary lunch catered by Sarina Falcon starting at 12:30 PM, and join us in a powerful day of community, learning, and celebration. All are welcome!
