Dialysis to the Docks harnesses the healing power of water. Our award winning program celebrates"blue space medicine"—water's natural healing properites—through monthly sailing tours departing from Baltimore's historic harbor sites.
An unexpected encounter with sailing in 2018 charted a new course for the founder's healing journey. Sailing didn't just offer temporary respite; it fundamentally transformed her understanding of what was possible while navigating daily dialysis treatments.
In 2024 we began bringing diverse populations onto the water, encouraging self-efficacy and empowering participants to build community, reconnect with nature, and practice whole-person wellness. To date we have happily gifted 42 FREE excursions to the kidney care community! Make waves with us by purchasing a ticket; ALL purchases allow for a person on dialysis treatment to sail for FREE.
