About this Event
Join Colorado Poet Laureate Crisosto Apache for an open-mic event celebrating Native writers and artists.
Select a passage and step up to the mic to amplify Native American voices! University of Northern Colorado’s Libraries will provide options from their collection, and UNC Native American Student Services will offer “mystery envelopes” to help you choose. All readers will be entered into our raffle to win one of six incredible titles by Native authors and artists, including two collections by 2026 Colorado Poet Laureate Crisosto Apache, who will also attend to read from his work and share his career journey.
In partnership with the University of Northern Colorado Libraries and University of Northern Colorado Native American Student Services.
