Commemorate Indigenous People’s Day with a celebration of Indigenous fashion at MOR! For our very first fashion show, we have invited Angela Howe, designer of Choke Cherry Creek to feature her designs that celebrates the beauty, strength, and resilience of her people. She is an enrolled member of the Apsáalooke (Crow) and Pikuni (Blackfeet) Nations of Montana.Angela's work blends traditional Indigenous artistry with modern design, creating fashion that tells a powerful story of cultural pride and perseverance. We are also beyond excited to welcome fashion designer Rebekah Jarvey. Jarvey is an esteemed international designer, artisan, Fashion Show Director, and model, proudly representing her Chippewa, Cree, and Blackfeet heritage as an enrolled member of the Chippewa Cree Tribe.
After seeing models walk wearing featured designs, join us for a reception that features brand-new exhibit, Getting Dressed, featuring fashion from MOR’s collection and local Indigenous vendors.
