FREE | Campus-wide EventCelebrate the resilience and vibrancy of global Indigenous people at First Americans Museum! Don’t miss the highlight of the day: Oklahoma City Mayor David Holt (Osage Nation) will read a Mayoral Proclamation from the Festival Plaza stage at 1 pm.
This year’s theme, Sovereignty in Motion, explores the ways Indigenous communities embody movement in daily life—through physical activity, intergenerational knowledge, collective care, and self-determination.
Throughout the day, guests can enjoy live music and performances, Lightning Talks, traditional Indigenous games, an Indigenous lacrosse exhibition, sports and activities, hands-on activities, a Chalk Mural Contest, and information booths featuring Indigenous organizations and community resources. 39 Restaurant will be open (make your reservations at 39restaurant.com!), and local food trucks will also be available.
Discounted $10 admission to the galleries and FAMily Discovery Center will be offered all day. FAM members enjoy free admission every day.
