Join artist Holly Wilson for a special talk in the Glass Pavilion, GlasSalon as she shares the process behind her new commissioned artwork for the Toledo Museum of Art. Wilson will discuss the development of a living land acknowledgment installation created in glass that will be permanently installed in Gallery 34.
Through images and examples from her studio practice, Wilson will walk attendees through the steps of creating the work, including her use of molds taken from organic forms such as plants, insects, and seed pods. The talk offers a unique opportunity to learn about the concepts, materials, and techniques that inform this evolving project.
