Join us on First Friday, November 6 from 5–9 PM for Indigenizing the ZACC 2026: Resistance – Resilience – Renewal.
Created in partnership with leaders in the Indigenous art community, this annual celebration brings together Indigenous artists, makers, musicians, and community members for an evening of art, music, connection, and celebration throughout the ZACC.
This year’s event centers around the theme Resistance – Resilience – Renewal and will feature Indigenous artists across all three ZACC galleries, an Indigenous Makers Market with work available for purchase from a variety of artists and makers, and live music performances in the ZACC Show Room.
The Main Gallery will feature work from Indigenous artists exploring this year’s theme, while the Blackfoot Communications Gallery will feature work by Two Spirit artists.
Come spend First Friday with us, meet participating artists and makers, shop Indigenous-made artwork and goods, experience the exhibitions, and enjoy live music throughout the evening.
