About this Event

The final session focuses on sustaining inclusive practices over time to ensure meaningful engagement and participation for all children and youth. Participants will develop realistic plans for staff training, coaching, and ongoing support to promote consistent implementation across their programs. Using real-world scenarios, teams will strengthen their skills in behavior support, communication strategies, conflict resolution, and elopement prevention. Participants will leave with a deeper understanding of a wide range of disabilities and a practical toolkit to help transform their programs into truly inclusive environments where all children, youth, and families can thrive.

Please note that participants must complete both sessions (Part 1 and Part 2) in order to fulfill DCYF's Inclusion Jumpstart Training universal requirement.
