The scent of incense can completely transform a space. But did you know that much of the incense you find in stores contains synthetic fragrances and other additives?
In this workshop, you’ll discover the world of natural incense. Learn where incense comes from, how it has been used across different cultures, and why herbs, flowers and resins have been part of rituals, meditation and moments of stillness for centuries.
You’ll explore a variety of herbs and flowers, discover their unique scents and learn about the meanings and traditions associated with them. Then it’s time to get creative and start making your own.
You’ll create your own natural incense cones and sticks, completely by hand. Experiment with different scents, discover which ingredients speak to you and create a blend that feels uniquely yours.
And of course, you won’t leave empty-handed. Take your handmade incense home with you and continue enjoying the scents, or turn them into part of your own little ritual.
