Guys, I wanted to put this out here for anyone who enjoys shooting, carries concealed, works in law enforcement/security, or just likes putting their skills to the test.On June 12th, 2027, Double Tap Tactics & Training is putting on our inaugural MASTER DEFENDER Tactical Performance Shooting Competition in Kansas City, Kansas.
This isn't about standing on a firing line shooting paper or seeing who can dump a magazine the fastest. The stages are built around problems you have to work through—using cover, moving, making decisions, shooting accurately under pressure, and dealing with situations that require more than just pulling a trigger.
You don't have to be a competition shooter. We built this for regular armed citizens and CCW holders right alongside law enforcement, security, military, and first responders.
At the end of the day, it's a competition, but the goal is for you to leave having tested yourself and hopefully learned something you can actually use.
Don't Just Shoot. Work the Problem.
June 12th, 2027

Early registration is $95 through December 1st and then goes to $125.
If anybody wants more information, shoot me a message or check out the flyer. I'd really like to see some familiar faces from back home, come out and take a run at becoming the first MASTER DEFENDER.
