Royal Prince Alfred Yacht Club (RPAYC) is pleased to announce the inaugural Lord Howe Ocean Race – to be held in alternate years and starting in October this year. The new 890 nautical mile race, from Broken Bay in Pittwater on Friday (2nd) of the October long weekend. Starting at 1:00, the race will take the fleet around Balls Pyramid off Lord Howe Island and return to the finish back at Pittwater – one long race.And yes, a big party is planned back at ‘The Alfreds’ after all have finished and come up for air
