VALLEJO CHORAL SOCIETY presents a winter concert of sacred music that invites us into peace, wonder, and light. In the Stillness features Gerald Finzi’s Magnificat, op. 36, a deeply expressive work featuring soaring choral melodies, paired with Antonio Vivaldi’s Gloria, RV 589, a radiant masterpiece celebrated for its driving rhythms and uplifting spirit. Other selections on the program include works by Sally Beamish, Morten Lauridsen, and Ørjan Matre.
The Symphonic Chorus will be joined by Chamber Orchestra and conducted by Artistic Director JULIA MORRIS
