In the GallowsJourney into the dark heart of Western Australia’s colonial past in a one-hour show of murder, shipwrecks, mutiny and the grim tales buried in the archives.
Through haunting songs and compelling storytelling, Ashlea Reale unearths the stories of the lost, the damned and the forgotten, tracing a trail of blood, betrayal and tragedy along the coast and through the unforgiving landscape of early Western Australia.
Part history podcast, part live musical performance, In the Gallows combines historical research, true stories and original songs to explore the darker side of WA’s past.
This show will be in a Rocky Fringe Venue, however it is aside from the Fringe Festival
