In Someone Else's Words: Patchwork Poetry at the Crossroads

Join us as part of the Being Human Festival 2026!

‘Cento’ poems (made from lines taken from other poems) create literary and cultural crossroads. We will create their own cento zines using lines taken from poems from across the world written in various languages. Poems will be provided, but you are encouraged to bring poems that are meaningful to you. Together we'll express ourselves in someone else’s words while considering what words mean; how that meaning is shaped; and who does the shaping.
