Who this In Person Event is for:
Ages 4-12. Adult caregivers are required to accompany child participants. Siblings of participants outside this age range are welcome, but may find the event to be less meaningful and fulfilling.
What you’ll be doing:
Join Seeds of Caring at Arthur and Ruth Browne Ascension St. Vincent House as we learn about the support provided to families while a child experiences a hospital stay. Then, we will get hands-on creating comforting fleece blankets and encouraging notes for kids receiving care at Ascension St. Vincent Hospital and their families.
Specific instructions:
All supplies will be provided. Families are optionally invited to bring a case of bottled water to the event, which will be shared with the family members who stay at Ascension St. Vincent House during their child’s hospital stay.
Why you'll be asked to pay a supply fee and donate:
On the next page, you'll be asked to pay a fee to offset supply costs for this event. These fees are non-refundable. If you have to cancel your registration later, please know that your fee will go toward our efforts to create more meaningful service-focused programs for kids.
Every time we're able to design, coordinate, and offer an opportunity for kids to give back, it's with the help of supporters like you. Please consider making a generous gift to help us continue to empower kids to create a kinder community with their hearts, hands, and minds.
We never want supply fees to prevent someone from participating in a Seeds of Caring project. If you would like assistance covering your supply fees, please email [email protected] and we will register you for free, no questions asked.
