Who this In Person Event is for:
Ages 4-12. Adult caregivers are required to accompany child participants. Due to the nature of this event, we ask that children and siblings outside this age group do not attend.
What you’ll be doing:
Caring kids and their grown ups will come together for a community art project led by Art Mix. ArtMix was created to address a community need that still exists today – access to the arts for people with a disability. ArtMix defines disability as a physical or mental impairment that substantially impacts one or more major life activities such as learning, self-care, and communication. This Seeds of Caring event will be an opportunity for kids with a wide range of abilities to create art together.
Specific instructions:
All supplies will be provided. Wear clothing you’re okay to get messy, as we will be working in an art studio. Optionally, families are invited to bring items from ArtMix’s Amazon Wishlist (https://bit.ly/ArtMixWishList) to support their programming throughout the year.
