In-Person Class: Pasta from Scratch: Fettuccine & Pesto (Seattle)

Get ready for the ultimate pasta-making experience with Chef Jason—a hands-on culinary experince where you’ll learn to create fresh, silky fettuccine and bold, vibrant pesto, entirely from scratch.

You’ll start by mastering traditional pasta dough using Italian 00 flour, prized for its fine texture and elasticity. From mixing and kneading to rolling and cutting, you’ll craft your own ribbons of fettuccine under Chef Jason’s expert guidance.

But the real highlight? Making pesto by hand, the traditional way. Using a mortar and pestle, you’ll unlock the full flavor of fresh basil, garlic, pine nuts, Parmigiano-Reggiano, and olive oil—creating a sauce that’s bright, aromatic, and deeply satisfying. This immersive process connects you to the heart of Italian cooking and brings out the best in each ingredient.
