Learn how to make delicious homemade mochi from scratch in this fun, hands-on class!
Get creative as you learn the techniques behind this beloved Japanese treat. You’ll prepare your own mochi dough, choose colors, shape your mochi and create delicious fillings.
What You’ll Make:
Each guest will make approximately 5–6 mochis, choosing their own color and up to two different fillings. You’ll prepare creamy and fruity fillings along with a traditional sweet red bean option. Once everything is ready, you’ll learn how to wrap and shape your mochi into the perfect bite-sized treats.
This class is all about getting involved, having fun, and making mochi your own!
No experience is required!
We provide all the equipment and ingredients. Our events are casual and designed to be fun and instructive, not hardcore. This class is perfect for families, first-time bakers, and anyone who loves trying something new in the kitchen.
Please arrive 15 minutes early to check in.
The nature of our classes is set up so that different booking parties will work together during class, sharing both ingredients and equipment. This is a family-friendly class; children must be accompanied by an adult. Drinks are NOT included in the ticket price. Guests who are 21 and over are welcome to purchase drinks at the bar. Outside drinks are not allowed.
