💙 @OLDHAM STREET ANGELS – IN MEMORY OF SHAUN Following my post earlier this week about volunteering with Oldham Angels in memory of Shaun, I wanted to share an update and let you know what we still need.
🥡 TAKEAWAY BAGS – AROUND 30 NEEDED
We’re hoping to put together around 30 takeaway bags for the day.
DONATIONS NEEDED:
🍜 Dried noodles (pot)
🥫 Long-life foods suitable for a takeaway bag
🥔 Crisps
🍰 Cakes / individually wrapped treats
🛍️ Paper bags – around 30 needed
The noodles are especially useful. I’ve been told they’re one of the most popular takeaway snacks and the Angels have actually run out this week
If we receive more than 30 items, that's absolutely fine — the extras will be left with Oldham Angels so they can continue giving them out after our day. 💙
💙 A HUGE THANK YOU
@H&H Designs have very kindly offered to donate the stickers for the bags.
The stickers will say:
“THIS IS FROM SHAUN” 💙
I think this is such a lovely way to make the bags personal and let people know they have been given in Shaun’s memory.
💧 Bestfood have also very kindly donated the water, so that is already covered.

### 🛖 SLEEP POD BUILDING – ANOTHER DAY
Oldham Angels have also asked if we could get a group of people together to help build Sleep Pods on a separate day.
These are designed to be **around 10°C warmer than a conventional tent** and provide extra protection for people sleeping rough.
The pods are also sent to national charities.

I didn't want to arrange anything until I knew whether people would actually be interested.
