About this Event

The Focus: Rheumatoid Arthritis

Zoom into your condition. Understand the science. Take back control.

In Focus is a free monthly evening talk series hosted at Restoractive where each session takes a deep dive into one health condition. Every month, we'll spotlight something different, so you can come along to the topics that matter to you.

Each 35–40 minute talk breaks down:

  • The science - what's actually happening in your body, explained simply, no medical background needed
  • The impact - how the condition affects you day to day
  • Management - practical, evidence-based ways to manage symptoms and improve quality of life, from both a medical and physiotherapy perspective

After the talk, stick around for an open Q&A, and a chance to connect with others in the room who understand exactly what you're going through. Sometimes the most useful thing isn't the slide on screen, it's realising you're not the only one dealing with this.

Who it's for: Anyone with the condition, their family and carers, or anyone who just wants to understand their body better.

Cost: Free
Format: In-person, sit-down presentation + Q&A
