Following the feature film PROMPT: MAKE A DOCUMENTARY, director Zeke Morgan-Hind's A.I. discussion doc, filmmaker Clayton Jacobson and festival director Simon Foster address the issues impacting the implementation of Artificial Intelligence in the creative arts community.
Many traditional elements of filmmaking are facing restructuring, reassessing and perhaps even entire elimination as A.I. continues its insurgence into our movie culture. Creativity, artistry, democritization, future employment, image integrity, the new craftsmanship - key issues currently hotly debated around the world's film industries.
Clayton Jacobson, director of the blockbuster comedy KENNY and founder and CEO of the new technologies production studio GUNSHY COWBOYS, is at the forefront of the A.I. revolution within the Australian film, television and advertising sector. In a pre-recorded interview, Jacobson talks with Festival Director Simon Foster about the state of A.I. in contemporary cinema.
