Come and celebrate spring, relearning the intelligence of your own cycle and how to move with it instead of against it.Spend an afternoon with Sofía and Martina exploring the menstrual cycle through conversation, reflection and gentle movement. In Bloom brings together cycle awareness, QiGong, Yin Yoga, acupressure and a space to connect in sisterhood.
Most of us were never taught how our cycles actually work — only how to manage them, hide them, or push through them. This is a chance to relearn what your body has been telling you all along.
You move through four inner seasons across the menstrual cycle: an inner winter, spring, summer and autumn. They reflect the rhythm the Earth moves through in a year, unfolding within you in your own timing. We’ll walk through each one — what’s going on in your body, why you feel so different across them, and what each season is actually asking of you. Not a biology lesson — a reintroduction.
Because your cycle isn’t an inconvenience to get through. It’s information. When you know which season you’re in, you can stop demanding that you be the same person every day — and start working with your own rhythm.
You’ll also learn the foundations of menstrual cycle tracking — what to notice, how to record it, and how tracking can help you recognise your own patterns. You’ll receive a menstrual cycle tracker to continue using at home.
Then we’ll pause for Wellington Apothecary tea, snacks and time to connect — a relaxed moment to chat, breathe and let everything settle.
In the second half, Martina will guide us into the body through QiGong, Yin Yoga, acupressure and self-myofascial release — gentle practices for the Spleen, Liver and Kidneys, which in Daoism govern our hormonal health. Things you can take home and actually use, in any season of your cycle.
Whether you’re completely new to this, coming back for a refresher, or you simply want to sit in a room of women talking honestly about their bodies — this is the space for it.
Spring is a good season for putting yourself out there and learning something new. Bring your friends. Bring your sister, bring the girlfriend who keeps saying she should look into this. It’s a lovely afternoon to spend together.
