Awita New York Studio presents IN BETWEEN, an October group exhibition exploring the spaces, moments, and experiences that exist between one state and another.
Between reality and nightmare.
Between comfort and fear.
Between the familiar and the uncanny.
Between who we were and who we are becoming.
The exhibition brings together artists exploring fear, horror, transformation, uncertainty, dreams, nightmares, the uncanny, and the unknown.
Artists are invited to interpret the theme freely. Works may approach fear and horror literally or metaphorically, through psychological, emotional, personal, social, or surreal perspectives.
Featuring a diverse selection of contemporary works across painting, sculpture, ceramics, photography, illustration, digital art, mixed media, installation, textiles, drawing, and more.
