About this Event
A beginner friendly Improv workshop that will also be great for regular players. We will practise some of the key "rules of improv" (really just good shortcuts that tend to help scenes to flow and develop). This will be a good introduction for new players, and a reminder for more experienced folks.
Then we'll explore what happens when we break those rules - can we still make scenes work well? A good opportunity to decide for yourself what things work, or don't, and why. Also, great practise for coping when a scene goes off the rails!
As ever, there are ground rules of treating each other with respect and kindness that we will not be breaking! No touching, no scenes about violence or sexualising people, no scenes containing bigotry ... and an opportunity for anyone to take other topics off the table if that makes them more comfortable.
