About this Event
Boost your confidence and creativity with this unique course that blends exercises from improv comedy with executive coaching.
In order to create whole comedy shows on the spot in front of a live audience, improvisers rehearse a series of methods to keep their communication and performance skills sharp.
This course will introduce you to these original techniques and in doing so cover a range of themes including:
- Active listening and effective communication
- Collaboration and supporting your team
- Expanding and following your creativity
- Thinking on your feet
- Confidence and authenticity
Each week you will also receive personal feedback on how you can level up your public speaking in a relaxed and supportive environment.
This course is a great opportunity for those who want to invest in their personal development in a fun and innovative way. It is also ideal for those who are curious about trying improv comedy but want to focus on the benefits most relevant to their work and wellbeing.
After the course, participants may request written personal feedback and report confirming attendance and what was covered for their employer.
"I started improv to get out of my comfort zone and develop communication skills, and having Charlie as a teacher exceeded all my expectations. She was always fun, engaged, super clear and helpful, she created a very welcoming environment where the whole group could learn and play at the same time." - Martha G., Improv Student
