About this Event
***Each participant should be registered using their own name and contact information. To ensure fairness and accurate attendance records, registrations are limited to one seat per person. We kindly ask that attendees not register multiple individuals under the same name or attempt to reserve seats for others.
If you are registering on behalf of others (for example, as an administrative assistant or coordinator), please complete a separate registration for each individual using that person’s name and contact information. If you are unsure whether someone has already been registered, please contact Madison Wingate at [email protected] before submitting another registration.
Be sure to select the correct type of ticket, as this training is hybrid. We have both in-person and virtual tickets.

Trust Based Relational Interventions (TBRI) is an evidence based practice designed to meet the needs of the "whole child." TBRI was developed at TCU by Dr. Karen Purvis and Dr. David Cross. While TBRI is designed as an approach to caregiving, it teaches how to respond to trauma in a developmentally respectful and attachment based lens. TBRI helps children who have experienced exceptionally hard things return to a natural developmental trajectory through its three principles: Connecting, Empowering, Correcting. Originally utilized with adoptive and foster families, TBRI has been implemented around the world in a variety of settings to help create positive change for both children and adults.
