Imperio Bamba bring their explosive six-piece live show to TAM for a night of Latin and Afro-Latin rhythms, psychedelic sounds and serious dancefloor energy — joined by a special guest on violin.
Born in North London and brought together by a collective of Latin American musicians, Imperio Bamba have created a sound entirely their own: “chichafrodelic.”
Think chicha and cumbia colliding with Afro-Peruvian rhythms, salsa, merengue, reggae, rock and psychedelia — music made to be experienced on your feet. The result is colourful, unpredictable and wonderfully difficult to stand still to.
Come ready to dance, lose yourself in the rhythm and enjoy a proper night of live music.
Whether you already love Latin music or simply want to discover something different, everyone is welcome. No dance experience required — just bring your dancing shoes.
