From Issue to Impact
Join the Office of Multicultural Interests and Lotterywest and Healthway for a (FREE!) hands‑on workshop, tailored specifically for the multicultural services sector, helping you to strengthen your project ideas, sharpen your funding story, and build confidence in demonstrating meaningful impact for the communities you serve.
Whether you’re looking for funding to run a community program, support new arrivals, deliver culturally responsive services, design inclusion initiatives, or strengthen community connection - you’ll gain practical tools to make your impact clear, measurable and fundable.
What we’ll dive into
🌏 Good project design – shape your ideas for maximum community impact
📍 Defining need and impact – clearly articulate the needs of CaLD communities and how your work responds
📏 Outcomes measurement – capture meaningful change (e.g. social inclusion, access, wellbeing, participation)
📊 Collecting data & evidence – practical approaches that respect cultural context and avoid overburdening your team
📝 Acquittal planning – make reporting to funders simple, clear and effective
📣 Telling your impact story – communicate outcomes in a compelling, culturally aware way
🤝 Collaboration & partnerships – learn from and connect with others doing important work across the sector
🌱 Sustaining impact – design initiatives that create lasting benefits for diverse communities
This is not a dry, academic workshop
It’s fun, interactive and practical. You’ll work on your own ideas and leave with tools you can immediately apply. Bring your idea to work, test and develop.
