International Marine Conservation Congress Film Night
Join us in person at the Edinburgh International Conference Centre for an evening event dedicated to celebrating marine conservation through film. The Society of Conservation Biology Global Marine Programme invites you to join them for a special evening - open to the public - as part of the 8th International Marine Conservation Congress being held in Edinburgh for the first time this November.
The evening programme features six stories of marine conservation and community action from around the world, plus a panel discussion with filmmakers, moderated by Scottish-based conservation scientist and filmmaker, Simon Dures. Featuring films from Mozambique, Atlantic Canada, Peru and the UK, the IMCC Film Night offers a fantastic opportunity to learn about and celebrate successful conservation action for our ocean environments.
And don’t forget to join us for the panel discussion with filmmakers, moderated by Simon Dures, a Scotland-based conservation scientist and filmmaker, and the director of the Edinburgh Conservation Film Festival, Scotland’s only festival dedicated to conservation storytelling!
