Celebrate the opening weekend of the Imagination Center at Reindahl Park!All are invited for a day of family-friendly events at the new Imagination Center at Reindahl Park. This is your opportunity to welcome the new library to the neighborhood, celebrate the opening of the first NEW Madison Public Library in more than 25 years, and learn about this new community hub.
Event Schedule:
10-11am: Nature Walk & Storytime with Nature Everywhere
10am - 12pm: How-To Corner
10am - 1pm: Food Trucks on site
12-2pm: Wild Rumpus outside (weather location: Parks Pavilion)
2-4pm: Live Music
Throughout the event, you can sign up for a library card, do a self-guided tour of the space, meet the staff, enjoy a new art exhibition, participate in hands-on art activities for all ages provided by the Bubbler at Madison Public Library, pick up library giveaways and information, and more.
When you get a NEW library card at the Imagination Center at Reindahl Park from September - December 2026, you'll receive a special Welcome to the Neighborhood booklet, which includes deals and coupons for 10 local businesses!
No registration is required; stop in for part of the day or stay throughout the event!
