This exhibition is a physical manifestation of a multidimensional, intensive grief process spanning a period of over 3 1/2 years - containing story, drums and weavings. I am still working madly, weaving, birthing and writing, and have finally set a date as I can see that the exhibition process will be ready by March 2027.
I would really love it if you would mark the date in your calendars so that I can share this profound experience with you - so many of you have contributed to my process without even being aware of it. It is a deeply personal exhibition, and I really hope that each of you find yourself reflected somewhere in the pieces. I hope to inspire conversations we so often avoid and that it invites us to delve deeper into our own grief, and each other.
Please note that there are some heavy issues mentioned in the writings so be mindful of where you are at when you attend and please take care of yourself. If you are unable to read the words during the event you will find them online as part of the listing on EQBM's online store so you can read them at home later on - if you feel to.
