From old inns and former hotels to historic landmarks and hidden corners of the town, we'll explore the true events, local legends and unexplained tales that form part of Ilkley's fascinating past.
Our walks are carefully researched, combining genuine historical accounts, newspaper reports and local folklore. We'll share what we know to be true, alongside the ghostly tales and mysteries that have become part of the town's history.

Important information
This is an outdoor walking event lasting approximately one hour. Please wear comfortable footwear and dress appropriately for the weather. Some sections of the route may be uneven, and parts of the walk will take place after dark.
This is a historical storytelling walk rather than a theatrical scare attraction. There are no staged frights, although some stories involve death, crime and other unsettling historical events.
Children are welcome, provided they are accompanied by a well-behaved adult! But be warned . . . we can't be held responsible for any nightmares afterwards!
