Step into the shadows of Lorain County’s past… if you dare.
Your group will be guided through the darkened rooms of the Lorain County History Center, where costumed storytellers will bring some of the county’s strangest and most unsettling stories to life. Meet the citizens of Lorain County whose stories linger long after the lights go out, and discover a side of local history you won’t find on an ordinary tour.
Tours will last approximately 1 hour, departing from the front porch every 10 minutes. Guests must be able to navigate stairs. The first tour starts at 4:00 PM; last tour starts at 7:00 PM. Choose your tour time when your reserve your tickets. Tickets must be reserved in advance.
This event is not recommended for children ages 8 and under.
Please note: The tour involves standing and walking for approximately 1 hour. Due to the historic architecture of the building, there is no elevator in The Hickories. Participants will be using stairs during the tour. Strollers, large bags, food, and beverages are not permitted inside the museum during this event.
