About this Event
This will be a spectacular night of retrospection and celebration, as we look back at the IEEE Victorian Section’s achievements of the year, as well as recognise the contributions of some of our outstanding volunteers.
Founded in 1983, IEEE Victorian Section is Victoria’s local geographic unit of IEEE – the world's largest technical professional organization dedicated to advancing technology for the benefit of humanity, with 420,000+ members in 190+ countries.
Based out of Melbourne, IEEE Victorian Section has close to 2000 members across various technical fields of interest – from photonics to computational intelligence, from medicine to engineering management – the list is vast. The community consists of students, young professionals, women in engineering, academics, industry professionals, government representatives and consultants, amongst others, working together to increase the impact of technology for societal benefit.
Hosting an elite crowd of some of the brightest technological minds, this event is bound to be a milestone moment in the scientific and technological landscape of the state.
