Join us for the formal launch of the IDS-TILDA Wave 6 Report, taking place at Chartered Accountants Ireland, 47–49 Pearse Street, Dublin 2, D02 YN40, on Thursday, 3 December 2026, from 10:00am to 12:30pm, followed by a light lunch.
Tea and coffee will be available in the foyer from 9:30am to 10:00am.
The launch will feature a presentation by Professor Mary McCarron, Principal Investigator of IDS-TILDA, alongside theme leads who will present the key findings from the Wave 6 Report. The event will explore findings across key areas, including inclusive learning and education, employment, independent living and active participation in society, wellbeing and health, and transport and mobility.
The programme will highlight the experiences and perspectives of people with intellectual disability, with contributions from PPI Contributors throughout the event. The launch will also include musical performances by people with intellectual disability, helping to celebrate participation and the valuable contribution of the IDS-TILDA community.
The event aims to provide an accessible and engaging platform to share the latest evidence on ageing and intellectual disability, and to support discussion on how research can inform policy, practice and services.
