About this Event
What would make your neighborhood better? A safer crosswalk, a cleaner park, a library program for kids, or a subway entrance everyone can use? Through The People’s Money, New York City’s citywide participatory budgeting process, residents propose ideas and vote on projects that the city then funds.
This Idea Generation Brunch is funded by the NYC Civic Engagement Commission as part of The People’s Money and hosted by EvoAutism Foundation. It brings together 20–25 Brooklyn residents who want to improve the city’s public spaces, facilities and services. The ideas you develop at the brunch can move forward in the process. If New Yorkers vote for them, they can receive funding from the city and become real projects in your community.
