ICS, WIMAR and WISTA Celebrate IMO International Day for Women in Maritime 2026
To mark the IMO International Day for Women in Maritime 2026, the International Chamber of Shipping (ICS), Women in Maritime Association Singapore (WIMAR SG) and the Women’s International Shipping & Trading Association (WISTA) are proud to co-host an evening of insight, inspiration and connection at OCHE Clarke Quay.
This special event brings together senior leaders, entrepreneurs and changemakers from across the maritime, resources and logistics sectors to explore two timely and interconnected themes: sustainability in challenging global conditions and women-led entrepreneurship.
The programme features two engaging panel discussions. The first, “Sustainability under Head Winds: From Commitment to Action,” explores how organisations are translating sustainability ambitions into tangible outcomes amid economic, regulatory and operational pressures. The second panel, “Women Entrepreneurs: Breaking Barriers, Building Businesses,” highlights the journeys of women leaders who are overcoming barriers, scaling businesses and shaping the future of maritime and professional services.
Each session is moderated by experienced industry leaders and features panellists from corporate, advisory, legal and entrepreneurial backgrounds. The evening concludes with a relaxed darts play session and networking drinks, offering an informal setting for meaningful connection and cross-industry exchange.
This event is open to maritime professionals, business leaders and allies who are committed to advancing diversity, inclusion and sustainable progress across the sector.
