A Historic Moment for Justice and Accountability. The Global Refugee Voice for Justice (GRVJ) warmly welcomes the upcoming judgment of the International Court of Justice (ICJ) in the case of The Gambia v. Myanmar, concerning the alleged violation of the Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of the Crime of Genocide.
According to the ICJ press release dated 3 November 2026, the Court will deliver its judgment on Thursday, 19 November 2026, at 10:00 a.m. (The Hague time) at the Peace Palace in The Hague, Netherlands.
This is a significant moment for the Rohingya people, who have endured decades of persecution, suffering, displacement, and injustice. We sincerely hope that the Court's judgment will bring positive results, uphold justice, recognize the rights and dignity of the Rohingya people, and contribute to accountability for the alleged crimes committed against our community.
GRVJ respectfully calls upon all Rohingya people, community leaders, organizations, and well-wishers around the world to keep this historic moment in their prayers. Let us pray together for a favourable judgment for the Rohingya people, justice for the victims, accountability for the perpetrators, and a peaceful and dignified future for our community.
Our hope is Justice. Our strength is Unity. Our goal is a peaceful and dignified future.
May Allah grant justice to the Rohingya people and bring a positive outcome from the International Court of Justice.
